Our History

Living Waters Chapel started on Palm Sunday of April 1993 with 14 membership comprising six nuclear families. Rev. David C. Vespa and wife Marilyn Vespa – missionaries from the States who were attached to Mid Ghana Bible College were the pioneer Pastors of the church.

The official inauguration took place on 23rd of January 1994 under the theme ‘The Flow of Living Water’. In 1996 the missionary Pastors Rev. David C. Vespa and his wife Marilyn Vespa went on Furlough and Rev. Tony G. Amoakohene was asked to take over on Easter 1996.

LWC got our current property in late 2000, the project was started with the Youth Hall and the church moved in to the Youth Church Hall in 2003.

Presently, work on the main auditorium has started and is progressing steadily and our membership now stands at 640. The first Board who the Lord used at the time were: Rev and Rev Mrs. David C. Vespa, Mr. Kofi Amponsah Efah, Late Col. Samuel Bamfo, Late Mr. Osei Sampah, Late Mr. Tsakle, and Lawyer Emmanuel Mawuvenu.
